Egyption Men Harass Women - They Deserve It?!!

In a Reuters Oddly Enough article it expressly states that the Egyptian men are sexually harassing women because at time they "deserve it". Now, I don't know about you, but I believe firmly that nobody has any right to violate you in any way, shape or form. I don't care if the men say the women "dressed in a way deemed indecent" or not.
It reports that two thirds of Egyptian men admit to having sexually harassed women. The sick part is, they say that the women are to blame and a lot of those women agree! I just cannot fathom that mindset. And I thought sexual harassment was overwhelming here in the States...
Another thing I don't understand is the fact that the vast majority of Egyptians are Muslim. Perhaps I do not understand the Muslim faith but I would think someone who is so religious would be less likely to commit these awful crimes. But then again, look at their beliefs that they must kill the infidel. Us. The non-believers. I don't know of any other religion that is so violent.
This just makes me sick that the women agree that they are to blame for the harassment. I guess it's the same mentality that women are worthless and if they get raped or beaten that it's "their fault."
I feel sorry for those women but at the same time, I can understand where they are coming from. But it does not make it right. Nor does it make it okay.
